Parkinson's disease myth 47 tremor  

 

Tremors in Parkinson's disease occurs during rest, for example when the hand is on the lap or on the table. However, for some people, tremors also occur when an object is held for a long time (for example a pen or cup) or during movements (for example, bringing a cup to the mouth to drink). For both types of tremors (rest versus action) other treatments may be required.
