Parkinson’s disease is the most common neurodegenerative motor disorder. Typical motor symptoms are:
- trembling
- muscle stiffness
- slowness of movement
- impaired coordination of movement
- impaired balance
In addition, 'non-motor' symptoms, that are not necessarily associated with Parkinson’s disease, can be present:
- constipation
- sleeping difficulties
- sweating
- smell impairment
- sexual dysfunction
- urinary incontinence
- blood pressure fluctuations
- anxiety
- depression
- pain
