Parkinson's Fighter: Eliane

It has been a long time since my diagnosis was announced, 22 years ago. The diagnosis was not so complicated in the sense that I was already supported by my GP and a neurologist for another disease: Ménière's disease. After several exams, the Parkinson’s disease was diagnosed. At first, I really did not notice anything. In the past few years, it is getting more difficult to walk and I feel that I need more time to do things.

However, I have not changed any of my habits, and I feel that there are not enough hours in a day to do everything. But that does not stop me from doing them! I try as much as possible to keep my autonomy. I still continue to drive and do grocery shopping. Despite my symptoms, I am not complaining and I am aware that they vary from person to person. We must keep hope!
