With walking and balance problems, special tools make you stay safer and more independent. That's much better for walking and balance than taking no aids at all, and thereby taking the risk that you're less active, causing symptoms to aggravate. It is important to use a tool only when needed and to learn to use it appropriately. Therefore, it is good to discuss this with a physiotherapist or occupational therapist specialized in Parkinson's disease.
