Pillow Fight in Nancy to support the battle against Parkinson’s disease

On 8 June 2019, a public pillow fight took place in Nancy, organised by a medical student association. The aim of the event was to raise awareness about Parkinson’s disease.

The Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine and its partners of the National Centre of Excellence in Research on Parkinson’s Disease created the initial concept of the Pillow Fight for Parkinson’s, with two pillow fight editions having taken place in Luxembourg, in 2017 and 2018. The student association CLAC Nancy was inspired by this project and decided to organize on in Nancy.

Throughout the day, dozens of visitors could not only participate in the pillow fights, but also check out the booths of the Luxembourg Parkinson’s Study, France Parkinson, Groupement Parkinsoniens de Lorraine, and OLEE (Organisation Lorraine des Étudiants en Ergothérapie).
