Due to the progressive nature of the disease, prolonged therapy with a low frequency (once a week) is discouraged. The role of speech therapy when speech becomes hard to understand, has been scientifically proven to be important. In such cases, it is appropriate to follow short-term and high-frequency therapy (3 to 4 times a week) to treat specific problems.
